Originally named Cytringan, Kyteringas and Keteiringan in the 10th century, the name Kettering is now taken to mean ‘the place (or territory) of Ketter’s people (or kinsfolk)

Kettering is an old Market Town with plenty going on within. It has its very own Theme Park, Wicksteed Park, which attracts 1000’s from all over the country. It also host its very own Ten Pin Bowling Alley along with many leisure facilities across the town. Kettering has something for everyone.
